Our new addition to our stallion battery: Ol' Runnin' Iron. Blue roan that went grey, stands 15.2 1/2, weighs 1300 lbs, wears a #1 shoe and superb confirmation. Cowboys can turn horse thief over his kind. His sire was owned by the Vowell brothers of Lakeview, OR--top cowboys, great ropers, excellent breeders. His dam was the favorite mare of 60 years continuous breeder Stanley Crocker of Centerville, WA.
Longtime friend and breeder Jim West sold his 1,100,000 acre ranch in Ely, NV and is cutting back and was good enough to sell us this fine stallion. He is a gentle, good natured stallion with 10 AAA speed sires on his pedigree and 8 mares and stallions to produce NCHA money earners. He has cow and speed and travel.
